| Taking a stand to End Human Trafficking at TDA |
This past month we had the honor and privilege to help train a young woman who was preparing for a mission trip to Italy to help end Human Trafficking. This topic is scary to talk about even more scary for those that get involved to stop it by personally visiting and going to those places in the world where it exist! She mentioned to us last night that today February 27, 2014 was a world wide
END IT MOVEMENT to show the world that human trafficking still exist! Yes, its real. And its ugly.
Last night was her last night of training with us and instead of running our normal class agenda, we at TDA held a special two hour class that dealt with abduction, knives, low light, ground work and more to help Melissa see and experience the potential reality of issues on her upcoming trip. It was an honor to have her at TEXAS DEFENSE ACADEMY and to show her how to be more aware and prepared if anything should happen during her mission.
After the two hour special training class, pictures were taken with the members of the academy that came to help and we all marked our hands in red with an X to support the END IT MOVEMENT to human trafficking. To honor Melissa and all those helping to end human trafficking, we ask everyone reading this to join us by placing a red X on your hand to show that human trafficking still exist and that this detestable atrocity must end.
